The Callander Youth Project Trust has been shortlisted for two awards at the forthcoming 2017 Social Enterprise Awards Scotland.
Social Enterprise Scotland has announced that the Callander-based organisation is shortlisted for the Social Impact Award and for Social Enterprise Champion (Chris Martin).
The Callander Youth Project Trust aims to improve the quality of life for young people (between 11 and 25) in the Callander area through providing access to the best possible education and recreational facilities – as well as support resources.
Local MSP, Bruce Crawford, has submitted a motion to the Scottish Parliament to congratulate the Trust on being shortlisted.
Commenting, he said:
“This is a fantastic achievement for this local organisation that puts so much time and energy into improving the lives of younger people in the Callander area. I am delighted that Callander Youth Project is up for two awards and wish them every success on the night when they come to the Scottish Parliament for the Wards Ceremony.”
