Local Representatives Kept In The Dark Over Bin “Shambles”

keeping Councillors in the dark over disruptions to the roll-out of the newly reformed refuse collection system.

 Stirling Council have recently publicly apologised for the rollout falling behind schedule, however Councillor Thomson has said that this is “simply not good enough.”

 

Jim Thomson said:

 “By far the biggest issue that constituents have contacted me over is the rollout of the new bin collection system. Residents by and large will put up with teething problems but to start the process without adequate resources just  makes the service look incompetent.

 “To make matters worse, Councillor Danny Gibson failed to inform his fellow Councillors of these issues. Not doing so has only served to keep local representatives and the people we work for in the dark.”
