Make sure you’re registered to vote!

Register to voteThis year will see voters across Stirling return to polling stations to vote in the Stirling Council Election. This is a crucial election and a chance to finally call time on the current Tory/Labour coalition that run Stirling Council’s services. Ensuring that all of our members vote in this election will be a significant help in gaining the seats required to win a majority and lock the Tories and Labour out of power.

The deadline for registering to vote in this election is 18th April.

If you are unsure as to whether you are registered to vote, you can contact the local Electoral Registration Office on (01786) 892 289 and you can register yourself to vote online by visiting Рit only takes five minutes. You should have your National Insurance number handy.

Voting by post is often easier and cuts out having to travel to a polling station on election day. If you have registered yourself to vote and would like to register for a postal vote, you will need to send a signed application form to the Electoral Registration Office.
