Bruce Crawford MSP has congratulated the Forth Valley Special Olympics Team who headed for Sheffield from Stirling’s St Modan’s High School on Monday (7th August).
In a motion to the Scottish Parliament, Mr Crawford has congratulated the team and highlighted the importance of encouraging people with learning disabilities in engaging in competitive athletic sports.
Commenting, Stirling MSP Bruce Crawford said:
“It is fantastic that people with learning disabilities are getting the opportunity to represent the Forth Valley at the Special Olympic Games in Sheffield and I am delighted that they are setting off from St Modan’s High School in my Constituency of Stirling.
“I wish our local athletes every success and I have submitted a motion to the Scottish Parliament to highlight this great achievement to date across the Chamber.”
