Stirling MSP Bruce Crawford has praised Stirling Council which has responded to his letter requesting that maintenance work be carried out on overhanging vegetation on the B829 road between Kinlochard and Stronachlachar.
Mr Crawford’s letter was in response to complaints made to his office by road users who said that the current state of vegetation was impacting on visibility.
The Council responded by stating “…works have commenced to cut back vegetation at various locations…” and that Area teams would be commissioned to further survey the above-mentioned location.
Commenting, Bruce Crawford said:
“I am delighted that Stirling Council has listened to the concerns of residents who have contacted me over this issue. Overgrown vegetation on rural roads can be a real hazard to those using them and works to remedy this will relieve some of the concerns that road users in the Kinlochard and Stronachlachar area have.
“I look forward to seeing the progress of these works upon my next visit to the area.”
